Registration & Renewal of Boiler:

Only online application is accepted. No document or drawing is required to be submitted in hard copy. View order

Application Submission Procedure:
Step 1 : Visit RajFAB web application at www.rajfab.rajasthan.gov.in
Step 2 : Register and make user ID & password on Single Sign On to use the RajFAB application. If not registered on Single Sign On then please see Step-by-step procedure to login to Single Sign On.
Step 3 : You have to login first on Single Sign On and then select RajFAB icon in Single Sign On Dashboard to use RajFAB application.
Step 4 : Click form 2 button under Registration Section for Registration/ form 2 button under Renewal Section.
Step 5 :Fill in all mandatory fields marked as *
Step 6 : You can choose either Departmental Inspecting Officer or Authorized private person recognized as Competent Person (Third Party) to inspect your boiler.
Step 7 : Fill tentative date for inspection your boiler.
Step 8: Now click button to go for payment option.
Step 9 :Make payment.
Step 10: Submit Application

v. Drawings
vi. Certificates such as dispatch note, certificate of welders, certificate of Boiler Attendant/certificate of Boiler Operation Engineer, test reports.
vii. Consent letter of Authorised repairer in case of site erection of boiler.

Note:-
In case of unavailability of any of the certificate at the time of applying, these can be handed over to Competent Person at the time of Inspection.

5. Evaporation capacity
6. Intended working pressure
7. Type of boiler

Note:
Departmental Inspecting Officer or Authorized private person recognized as Competent Person shall communicate date of inspection within 7 days.

Time Limit For approval:
** Registration of boiler – 30 days
** Renewal in cases in which Competent Person is empowered to issue a certificate under section 8 without further referance – 48 hours
** Renewal of boiler in any other case – 15 days

You are not required to visit any office for the purpose. Services pertaining to registration / License are available on line. One can login to the portal and complete the formalities from the comfort on your Computer.

Am personally required to visit any office?
No

Can an inspector inspect my premises?
Yes. An Inspector is supposed to visit premises of the joint inspection of factory to conduct inspection except that the Factory Occupier has opted for self-certification scheme.

Factories are allotted to Inspectors by computer in RajFAB web application in randomized manner based on computerized risk assessment based upon risk profile (such as High (Major Accident Hazard), Medium (Hazardous/Dangerous Operation) and Low risk (Non-Hazardous)) of factories targeted to provide streamlined compliance inspection regimes for industries on the basis of their relative risk or hazard levels.
