Notice for visitors :
a. Please carry the valid photo id proof of identity as mentioned in the registration form.
b. If your visit is not approved by concerned advocate on Record / Judicial Section then do the following :
1. take a print of the registration form;
2. Get it approved by the advocate of the case / Gate pass section at Supreme court of India; and
3 submit it at visitor counter.

Which cases will be listed under the head “Personal Appearance” ?
Under the head “Personal Appearance”, those cases are listed in which parties have been directed to appear before the Hon‟ble Court.
Which cases will be listed under the head “Orders”?
Under caption „Orders,‟ incomplete matter and interlocutory application in admitted matters shall be listed. Applications in cases which are admitted but not ready for final hearing will also be listed under this caption.
Which cases will be listed under the head “Fresh for Admission”?
Under head “Fresh for Admission”, freshly filed and adjourned cases in which Court notice is yet to be issued will be listed.
Which cases will be listed under the head “After Notice Matters”? Why listing of these cases is taking time ?
Under head “After Notice Matters”, the cases in which Court notice has been issued but the case is not admitted are listed. After notice matters are ordinarily listed on the Court given returnable date.
In the absence of any specific order in that behalf, the after notice matters are listed chronologically progressively because of hearing docket of fresh cases.
When will the applications for urgent hearings be listed before the Hon’ble Court?
At present, urgent hearing applications are being filed in large number. Therefore, all such applications cannot be listed at the same time before the Hon‟ble Court.
These applications will be listed before the Hon‟ble Court in suitable numbers each day, as per their seniority. Listing of such cases will be done as early as possible. However, in most urgent case, parties may mention the application before the Hon‟ble Court.

SCVMS is a web based solution for Visitor Management System for the Supreme Court of India. This system facilitates online registration of requests of Entry-Pass for Litigants (Petitioners / Respondents) and others visiting Supreme Court of India.
Upon online registration of the request for Entry-Pass, the visit details (registration number, date of visit and approval status) are communicated to the visitor applicant through SMS / eMail which are then verified through SMS / eMail by the Advocate on Record (AoR) for the concerned case or the concerned Officer of the Registry as mentioned in the request.
