RMSA Employee Registration :
The RMSA (Rastriya Madaymik Shiksha Abhiyan) Portal is primarily developed for the employees of the Department of Higher education so that they can post /share their questions/problems/views on a single platform that can be shared among all the employees of the department.

In RMSA Portal, there are two types of Users :
1. Departmental Employees
2. Students
Both Departmental employees and Students need to be registered themselves before accessing the application.
Registration :
Since the portal involves only the employees of Higher Education department so the employee can register themselves online using their existing genPMIS Employee Code and password.
On authentication from genPMIS by the software, the general information related to the employee is returned for self-verification and afterwards the employee registers himself/herself by the providing the portal password, his email address and mobile number.
During registration employee is asked to provide the secret Question and Answer, which will be used in case if the employee forgets his/her password provided during the registration.
Once the Employee is authenticated on the portal by the genPMIS application, he/she needs to verify his/her email id to activate his/her account. After registration, an email is sent to the employee’s email Id (provided during registration) for verification and employee is asked to check his/her email.
In the email, a verification code is send to the employee. The employee verifies himself/herself by clicking the link provided in the mail and entering the verification code. Once the employee is verified he/she can logon to the portal.
Employee :
This option is used to login to the Portal by the registered Departmental employee. The user enters his/her email Id (provided during registration) as User Name and Password (Provided by the user during registration) for accessing the application.
Main :
It contains the details of questions asked by the user. A link is provided corresponding to each question to see the answers with reference to that question.
Edit Profile :
This option is used to edit the personal information corresponding to the User. User can change his/her Mobile No., Nick Name, Secret Question/ Answer which is to be provided in case the user forgets his/her password of the portal in the future.
He/ She can also update the location of the school where is at present in the portal.
Change Password :
This option is used by the user to change his/her password in the RMSA Portal. User has to provide the current password of the RMSA Portal and then enters the New password which the user wants. The User has to re-enter the New Password for its confirmation.
School Registration :
This option is used to enter the Government School of Himachal Pradesh which are authorised to use the RMSA Portal. Only users with Administration Role are authorised to add registered school for the RMSA Portal.
The User needs to provide the District, Tensile and the 10 Digit School Code along with the School and Block Name.
