Requirements & Guidelines :
1. Legal age :
Testator must complete 18 years of age with sound mind for preparation of WILL.

2. Testamentary Capacity/Sound mind :
Testator must know while making a WILL, how much property he/she has, and the names of the descendents or relatives or other person(s) who should have a share in Testator’s estate.

3. Intention to transfer property :
Testator must have an intention to bequeath some or all the property/ies belonging to him/her to the specific person/s or entity/ies.

4. Written :
WILL should be in writing.

5. Duly signed :
Testator must voluntarily sign the WILL, unless unusual circumstances such as illiteracy, illness, or accident prompt your lawyer to make an alternative provisions.

6. Duly witnessed :
In most of the states, the signing of a formal WILL must be witnessed by at least two adults who understand that they are witnessing, are competent to testify in court, and are not preferably the beneficiaries of the WILL.

7. Duly executed :
WILL must include a statement attesting that it is Testator’s WILL alongwith the date and place of signing. Testator must sign the WILL in presence of Two witnesses and vice versa.

Will is a written declaration of a person in presence of two witnesses about his/her wishes after his/her death for all matters including distributing his/her properties, assets, wealth to family, relatives, outsiders, charities etc.

Customer Service Flow in My Will Services Online Portal :
1. Customer Registration :
customers with minimum information can register through My Will Services Online web portal of SBICAP Trustee Co Ltd

2. Email and Mobile Verification :
a verification email is sent to the customer on his/her email id along with the Mobile verification, post successful registration for Online Will generation

3. Tour of services :
customer can take a tour and go through the sample service available and can choose the Will template from the available formats

4. Payment Acceptance :
once the Will template is selected by the customer for Online Will generation, it will proceed to online payment gateway for making payment

5. Customer Data Acceptance :
on receipt of payment confirmation from payment gateway, customer can enter the data which need to be captured while generating proforma Will

6. Proforma Will Generation :
once the entered data is accepted/approved by the customer then system will generate the proforma Will. The proforma Will has to be finalised within 30 days of making payment

7. Proforma Will View, Customer final Acceptance :
system generated proforma Will can be viewed Online and then the customer need to give his final acceptance on the same

8. Proforma Will Dispatch by E-Mail :
once the Online generated proforma Will is accepted by the customer and payment confirmation is sent to SBICTCL from Payment Gateway(usually on T+1 basis), the same will be dispatched on his/her registered email id.

The instructions will also follow as to :
** Print the Will
** Sign the Will

** Witnesses to attest the Will
** Safe keeping of Will as per customers choice
** Registration of Will is optional, non-mandatory

9. Customer Confirmation (Auto)
customer is deemed to receive the proforma Will on his/her registered email id once the same is generated from the system

10. Proforma Will Resending Services :
if in case of non receipt of the proforma Will, customer can login on the web portal and resend the same proforma Will which will be re-dispatched on his/her registered email id within the stipulated 30 days from the date of generation of proforma Will

11. Deletion of proforma Will :
in order to maintain data secrecy and confidentiality, the data which the user has submitted for preparation of proforma Will shall be purged/deleted from the Will portal after 30 days from the date of generation of proforma Will
