About HAC :
Welcome to the website of House Allotment Committee , UT Chandigarh. The house allotment Committee looks after the allotment of Government houses in Chandigarh .

There are about 14000 houses in different categories. In an endeavour to make the system transparent and user friendly, this website has been designed keeping in mind the queries and problems faced by the applicants/allottees of Government Houses.

Any suggestions to improve the system are most welcome. Please also feel free to report any error in the data that might have crept inadvertently.

FAQs :
1. My aadhaar number is already registered. I cannot register myself.
Go to login page and click on forget password link. You will get login id and password on your registered mobile no.

2. How to know the category of accommodation for which I am eligible?
Go to Acts/Notifications link on menu. Download Accommodation Allotment Rules. See Annexure A on second last page.

3. I have already applied for accommodation manually. Do I have to register myself?
If you have already applied and your name is in seniority list then your login id is given there in the last column and your password is chdUTEISA.

4. How to know about my application status which I submitted to HAC?
You can know your application status through application history in your login.
5. How to apply for accommodation on out of turn basis?
There is no provision for out of turn basis allotment in this online system.

6. I was debarred for 1 year. Do I need to re-apply?
At the end of 1 year if your name is in seniority list then you can bid on the same application number. If it is not there then you need to apply again.

7. When can I submit my application to HAC? When can I bid? When will I get the bidding result?
You can submit application to HAC anytime. If you want to participate in a bid, say for the month of march then you have to submit your application to HAC on or before 19th february. You can bid from 1st to 8th (upto 11:59 p.m) of every month . TENTATIVE DATE of BIDDING RESULT is 10th of a month.

8. I am an Ex-servicemen. What is my joining date?
It will be the date of joining in defence service.

10. I want to apply for category below my entitled category.
If you want to apply for category below your entitled category then you have to edit your entitlement details according to the house category you want to apply for.

11. My application is in the rejection list. What should I do?
You will have to apply again after correcting your application, whatever be the reason for rejection.

12. How to apply for mutual exchange?
There is no provision for mutual exchange in the online system.
