Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp :
Delhi Traffic Police will be organizing Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp – 2017 for school children from class VIth to XIIth in four batches beginning from 15th May 2017 to 09th June 2017.

Each batch will be of 5 day’s duration (Monday to Friday). Schools who are interested to ensure the participation of their students in the summer camp are requested to register through e-mail or phone trafficrsc2 [AT] gmail.com , 011-25845629).
The venues for the summer camp are as under :
T.T. Park Pragati Maidan – Southern Range (South & South East Distt.)
T.T. Park Punjabi Bagh – Western Range (West and South West Distt.)
T.T. Park Roshnara Bagh – Northern Range (North & North West Distt.)
T.T. Park Bal Bhawan – Eastern Range (East & North East Distt.)
T.T. Park Baba Kharak Singh Marg – Central Range (New Delhi & central Distt.)
The timings are 8.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs and Registration begins from 4th May 2017 and will continue till 14th May 2017 (subject to availability of seats) and registration will be on first come first served basis and registration through individual/Schools/Groups.
The schools desirous of sending their groups of students for the summer camp are requested to choose the park nearest to their school and also depute a teacher incharge to transport the children to & from the camp venues.

FAQs :
1. What will you do if you are stopped by traffic police for any violation?
a. Pay-up : Pay the compounding amount against a receipt or
b. Contest : Surrender a document (like driving license) against a challan receipt and attend the court on a given date. In the court, after contesting the case, you will be either : i) acquitted or ii) fined.
2. Need an NOC (No Challan Certificate) for Commercial Vehicles
For renewal of Commercial Vehicle’s permit / transfer of ownership, an ‘No Challan Certificate’ (NOC) is issued by Notice Branch, Delhi Traffic Police Headquarters, Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi-12, for which a photocopy of Registration Certificate of the vehicle is required.
3. Need an NOC (No Challan Certificate) for Commercial Driving Licenses
NOC for renewal of commercial driving licenses is issued by Notice Branch, Delhi Traffic Police Headquarters, Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi-12, for which you will have to fill-in a NOC Form and submit a photocopy of old license or NCR, in case you have lost your driving license.
4. Need a ‘SHORT TERM’ Entry Permission for Commercial Vehicle
Plying of Truck/Matador/Tempo/Vans – Commercial Vehicles are restricted / prohibited during certain hours on certain areas / roads in Delhi.
In case, you are required to transport your luggage, goods, etc., during the restricted / prohibited time or place, you may apply giving reasons at the office of Concerned ACP/Traffic(District) for getting permission for a particular vehicle.
5. Complaints against corruption
Information regarding corruption may be sent to, Vigilance Branch (PRG Wing), Barakhamba Road, Delhi .
6. Towing of vehicle by a traffic crane
Contact the nearest Traffic Circle. You will be required to pay compounding amount for improper parking plus towing away charges depending upon your vehicle type.
