What is KMDC Arivu Loan Scheme?
Arivu Scheme is implemented by KMDC Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd. Under this scheme, religious minority students who are desirous for pursuing professional courses like Medical, Engineering, Dental, Master Degree Courses, Diploma Courses, Nursing, B.Ed, BBM, BCA, D.Ed, D-pharma, Pharma-D and ITI are provided financial assistance/loan ranging from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.75,000/- per year till completion of the course.

Arivu (Education Loan) Scheme For CET Student :
As per government order No.MWD/03/MDC/201, Bangalore dated 17.01.2014, the Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd., (KMDC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore.
Accordingly, applications as per the prescribed format issued under KEA Brochure, are invited from the candidates belonging to religious minorities viz.,
Muslim, Christian, Jain, Building, Buddhist, Sikh and Parsi communities who are appearing for Common Entrance Test (CET) which will be conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for various Professional Courses, for sanction of education loan from the Corporation under its ‘ARIVU’ (Education Loan) Scheme as per the fee prescribed by the KEA/Government of Karnataka.
How To Renew KMDC Arivu Loan?
The Candidates who have appeared for CET and applied for loan renewal for the next academic year, under KMDC Arivu (Education Loan) Scheme, are requested to contact the concerned District Office for further details.
Instructions For KMDC Arivu Loan Application
1. Type kmdc.kar.nic.in/arivu2 to Apply Online for ARIVU Loan for the Students who have applied form CET , NEET and Other Course under ARIVU Home page. Choose from the MENU below.
Note :
i) CET,NEET Students can apply their application by clicking on “ARIVU ONLINE FRESH APPLICATION FOR CET STUDENTS”.
ii) NON-CET or Other Course Students can apply their application by clicking on “ARIVU ONLINE FRESH APPLICATION FOR OTHER STUDENTS”. Please see more instructions for filling up the form in last page of this Manual.
2. Click on “New Application”, next Click on the Board from where you have completed “10th” Standard.
3. As soon as you enter the” SSLC No.” all details that are recorders in the SSLC data base will popup, you can make modifications if required.
4. After data entry the screen will look like this
5. After completion of filling the form click on “Save”
6. Once it is saved you will get a “Registration ID”, the generated ID has to be saved by the Student for all further correspondence.
7. In case you forget your Registration ID you can get your Registered ID by clicking on “Forgot ID” option and type your SSLC no.and the Registration ID will be sent by message[SMS] to phone number that you have entered in the application.
8. After Saving, if you wish to modify the Saved data in the application, enter your Registration ID and click on ‘Get OTP’ you will be receive an OTP on your registered mobile no. Enter the OTP and click on “Proceed” to make Modifications.
9. After making modification click on “Update” button.
10. You will get a message[SMS] when data is updated in the system.
11. Once you are satisfied with the data entered and you do not required any modifications, the student/ applicant can submit the application by clicking on the “Submit” button. NOTE : Once you “Submit” you cannot modify the application.
12. You will receive a message[SMS] of successful submission of the application to the concerned District Office.
13. Take a Print-out and submit it to the concerned District Office along with the documents, which you have ticked in the applications.
14. You can check your Status.
Instructions for NON-CET Students to fill thier online form.
1. TYPE of Application – select (New Application)
2. Board of Study – Your SSLC Board ( State Board/CBSE/ICSE)
3. Basic Details :
i) File the details of your CET and NEET number (if you are from CET, if not ignore)
ii) Type your SSLC no and other details which are asked in the form.
4. Permanent Address (Once typed its unchanged)
5. Present Address
6. Occupation of the Parents
7. College/Course Details : Your College District, College Name, Course Etc.,
8. Fee Details : Your College Tuition Fee and other fee details
9. Bank Details of Candidates / Application : Students Bank Details
10. Documents to be Submitted – All documents
