3 How to lodge a grievance for better effect?
The lodging of a grievance or a suggestion is very easy. The grievances can be registered online at grievance portal .If there is any issue in the registration of the grievances you can contact Shri Shubhendu, Director, NIC on Mobile No.9810727757.
4 What type of grievances are usually not attended to?
All types of grievances are usually attended to. The grievances which are resulting out of a Subjudice matter, or a personal and family dispute, or a case in which RTI has been filed are usually not attended to.
The Ministry will also not like to comment on the complaints actually pertaining to the other Ministries or Departments, or, which impact upon territorial integrity of the country or affect friendly relations with other countries.
5 What does one do to track the grievance?
The grievances can be tracked on grievance portal by clicking “View status” and entering the unique registration number given at the time of lodging grievance. When grievance is lodged an email is also sent.
6 What if one is not satisfied with the settlement of grievance?
One can register grievance once again.
7 How am I sure that grievance has been looked at the fairly higher level?
The grievances at the receiving end are looked at fairly senior level, not less than an officer of Class-I status. Therefore, please be assured that the reply to the grievances has been decided at a fairly high level.
8 What if I wish to meet the officer concerned for redressal of the complaint?
If you are still not satisfied with the grievance, you can definitely request for time from the Officer. You can request this wish on this portal itself and the appropriate officer will give you time to meet.
