Looking at ‘service’ from the citizens’ point of view, the Government of Telangana seeks to redefine citizen services through eSeva, using state-of-the-art technologies.

The Government of Telangana has a clear vision to create a knowledge society by using Information Technology in all aspects of development and governance. Pioneering efforts are being made to reach the benefits of IT to the citizens – urban and rural, rich and poor, literate and illiterate.

eSeva Service With Difference :
Looking at ‘service’ from the citizens’ point of view, the Government of Telangana seeks to redefine citizen services through eSeva, using state-of-the-art technologies.

** Efficiency, Reliability, Transparency and Scalability are the watchwords at eSeva.

Vision :
The Government of Telangana has a clear vision to create a knowledge society by using Information Technology in all aspects of development and governance. Pioneering efforts are being made to reach the benefits of IT to the citizens – urban and rural, rich and poor, literate and illiterate. The Government is conscious of the dangers of the ‘digital divide’, and is making special provisions for reaching the ‘information have-nots’.

Features of Telangana eSeva Portal

** 51 eSeva centres (with 400 service counters) spread over the Twin Cities and Ranga Reddy District.
** All service counters are facilitated with an electronic queuing system.
** Operating from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, on all working days and 9.00am to 1.00pm on holidays (Second Saturdays & Sundays).
** One-stop-shop’ for over 66 G2C and B2C services.
** No jurisdiction limits – any citizen in the twin cities can avail of the services at any of the 51 eSeva service centres.
** Online services eForms, eFiling, ePayments.
** Payments by cash/cheque/DD/credit card/Internet.

eSeva offers a wide spectrum of citizen-friendly services that will save citizens the bother of running around various departments.

Functions of Telangana eSeva Portal

eSeva is a government-to-citizen (G2C) initiative of the Government of Telangana.

It is an online portal that provides a variety of services to citizens, including:
** Payment of utility bills: eSeva allows citizens to pay their utility bills online, including electricity, water, and telephone bills.
** Online transactions: eSeva allows citizens to perform a variety of online transactions, such as booking bus tickets, applying for a driving license, and filing income tax returns.
** Access to government services: eSeva provides citizens with access to a variety of government services, such as birth and death registration, land records, and caste certificates.
** Information about government programs: eSeva provides citizens with information about government programs, such as scholarships, subsidies, and loans.
** Complaints and feedback: eSeva allows citizens to file complaints and feedback about government services.
