Revision of Pension :
This is to bring to the notice of all pensioners/family pensioners of IA&AD whose pension is processed by this office that in terms of Department of Pension & Pensioner’s Welfare & Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure OM dated 12/05/2017 and dated 23/05/2017, the pension/family pension w.e.f. 01.01.2016 will be revised by notionally fixing their pay in the pay matrix recommended by 7th CPC in the level corresponding to the pay in the pay scale/pay band and grade pay at which they retired/died.

This will be done by notional pay fixation under each intervening Pay Commission based on the formula for revision of pay 50% of notional pay as on 01/01/2016 shall be the revised pension and 30% of the notional pay shall be the revised family pension w.e.f. 01.01.2016.

The revision will be initiated by the Head of Office/DDO from where the government servant had retired/or was working last before his death.

After revision by the HOO/DDO, the revised pension will be forwarded to PAO for further process and issue of Special Seal Authority to the CPAO for payment of revised pension/family pension.

The fitment table for fixation of notional pay will be provided by the Ministry of finance, Department of Expenditure and we are awaiting for the same. Special team has been formed to process the cases speedily on receipt of the revision cases from the concerned Head of Office/DDO.

The office of the Accountant General (Audit), Delhi was formed with effect from 6 May 1985 under the name of the Director of Audit-II, Central Revenues. It was redesignated as the Principal Director of Audit –II, Central Revenues with effect from 1 March 1990 and as the Accountant General (Audit), Delhi with effect from 19 October 1993. The office is located in AGCR Building at Indraprastha Estate in New Delhi.
