How to find Aadhaar Enrolment Centres for Andhra Pradesh? :
The enrolment for the issue of Aadhaar (UID) number can be done from the enrolment centres run by Enrolment Agencies employed by any of the Registrars of the UIDAI
The information on enrolment centres can be obtained by contacting UIDAI Toll Free Number 1800 180 1947 or by accessing the portal http://uidems.cgg.gov.in specifically set up for this purpose
The residents need to enrol for the Aadhaar number only once through any of the Enrolment Agencies/Registrars for the Project
The residents should ensure that the data entered by the enrolment operators is correct and rectify the mistakes immediately
The residents should keep the acknowledgement slip duly signed by the enrolment operator containing the demographic details collected
The residents should note that the acknowledgement slip is important and they should not leave the enrolment centre without the acknowledgement slip as this is proof for the resident that she/he has enrolled.
The residents should mention the Enrolment ID (EID) Number contained in the acknowledgment slip as a reference to track the status of their enrolment.
The residents have a facility for correction of the demographic data within 48 hours of the enrolment at the same enrolment station where the resident’s enrolment has taken place.
If the resident identifies any error in the demographic data after the 48 hours timeline he / she can rectified only by approaching permanent updation centres
The permanent centres for rectification will be set up soon by the UIDAI through the Registrars
Permanent enrolment centres /updation centres will be located at Mandal level or Taluq level
Aadhaar enrolment is free of cost. The resident should not pay any money for either enrolment forms or for enrolment process.
The resident should not entertain any middlemen and fraudulent personnel for the enrolment.
The Aadhaar number will be delivered to the resident by post within 60-90 days from the time of the enrolment.
In case of delay the residents are requested not to get worried or anxious if the Aadhaar letter is not received within 3 months.
