** Limited copies of Kerala Gazette are available for sale at the Sales Counter attached with the Government Contral Press, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001.

** Those interested in annual/half yearly subscription can be made by remitting the prescribed charges in advance on or before 10th December/ 10th June so as to supply the Gazette from the 1st of January or 1st of July as the case may be.
** Cost of Gazette and mode of payment prevailing are published from time to time at the last page of Gazette.

Who are eligible to subscribe for Kerala Gazette :
Those who apply and remit the subscription for the same at specified rates are eligible. Subscribers are enrolled during January and July of every year.

Is the form free of cost- :
The form is supplied free of cost; but at the time of submission of the same Rs. 5/- will also be collected as cost of application form.

Application Form Procedure & Submission

What is the procedure to get the application form and mode of submission :
Application can be collected in person, or can be had from Government Central Press by sending request with self-addressed and stamped envelop. Filled up application along with fees can be submitted/forwarded to Superintendent of Government Presses, Government Central Press, Thiruvananthapuram or at District Forms Store in other districts.

From where the application for change of name/signature, religion, correction of Casts etc. can be had :
Application form is available with Publication Wing of the department at Government Central press, Thiruvananthapuram and from District Forms Stores of various districts.

How along it will take to get a notification regarding change of name/signature etc. published in Gazette :
Normally it takes 45 to 60 days from the date of submission.

How to Publish

A. Government Advertisements :
Government Advertisements are given free of cost upon official request from concerned Departments.

B. Private advertisements :
Any adult or an adult on behalf of his guardianship for minors can give private Advertisements, in respect of change of name/signature/religion and correction of casts made on payment basis and on prescribed forms available from the Superintendent of Govt. Presses at the Government Central Press, Thiruvananthapuram and at various District Forms Offices directly or by post upon request.

The cost of Forms will be collected later along with the advertisement charges. Documentary evidences should be produced in proof of all claims related with the advertisement.

The appropriate fee can either be directly remitted at the above said offices on all working days between 10.30 a.m and 3.30 p.m or under the following heads of accounts in any Kerala Government Treasury.

** Cost of Gazette along with registered postage charges under the Head of Accounts “Sty & Ptg-0058 Cost of Gazette (102)”
** Advertisement Charges under Head of Account “Sty & Ptg-0058 Cost of Gazette (200)”
