Green PIN as the name suggests, helps save paper thus contributing to earth’s environment as well as contributes to reduce the carbon foot print. Green PIN initiative offers a hassle free mechanism to generate Debit-cum-ATM PIN for existing as well as new Debit card customers.

Generating your Debit-cum-ATM PIN through IDBI Bank ATM :
Green PIN generation through IDBI Bank ATM is a two-step process. In the first step, customer needs to generate an OTP using IDBI Bank ATM and in the second step customer needs to validate the OTP and set a PIN of his choice.

Step 1 : Insert your Debit Card at IDBI Bank ATM
Step 2 : Post language selection, select Generate ATM PIN option
Step 3 : Select Generate OTP option to receive OTP & request ID on your registered Mobile number

Step 4 : Reinsert your Debit Card and again select Generate ATM PIN option
Step 5 : Select Validate OTP and enter the OTP & Request ID received on your registered Mobile Number

Step 6 : Post successful validation customer will be prompted to create a new PIN of his choice. New Debit Card PIN will be generated instantly.

Generating your Debit-cum-ATM PIN through IVR :
Stepwise process for PIN generation is given below :
Step 1 : Dial IDBI Bank Phone Banking Nos. 18002001947 or 1800221070 or 022-66937000

Step 2 : Choose Option 3 (Insta PIN Generation) from the main menu and enter Customer ID & Debit Card number for which the PIN needs to be generated

Step 3 : Validate the OTP sent to the registered Mobile Number and create a new PIN of your choice. New Debit Card PIN will be generated instantly. To activate the Card, please use it at any Bank’s ATM/POS machine with the PIN set by you.

Generating your Debit-cum-ATM PIN through Internet Banking :
Stepwise process for PIN generation is given below :
Step 1 : Login to IDBI Bank Net Banking
Step 2 : Click “Cards” Tabon the home page and select “Instant Debit Card PIN generation” module

Step 3 : Select Card and confirm details to receive One Time Password (OTP)
Step 4 : Enter OTP sent to your registered Mobile Number. The same will be valid for 30 minutes

Step 5 : Validate the OTP sent to the registered Mobile Number and create a new PIN of your choice. New Debit Card PIN will be generated instantly. To activate the Card, please use it at any Bank’s ATM/POS machine with the PIN set by you.
