Aadhaar Seeding
** Enter the Aadhaar no., post office account no. and bo code.
** Click get KYR button.

** Once the beneficiary details are displayed, the BC needs to verify the details with the Aadhaar card and post office pass book.
** After verification, the scan fingerprint button is to be clicked.
** If the fingerprint verification succeeds, the seed button is to be clicked.
** The aadhaar no. is seeded into beneficiary account.
** If the details are incorrect or fingerprint verification fails, the cancel button is to be clicked to cancel the seeding.
Mobile Seeding :
** Enter the mobile no., post office account no.
** Click get KYR button.
** Once the beneficiary details are displayed, the BC needs to verify the KYR details with the post office pass book.
** BC verifies the details.
** After clicking the Seed button, an OTP is sent to the provided mobile. This OTP is to be entered in the next displayed screen. If the OTP is not received within the stipulated time, regenerate OTP is to be clicked to generate a new OTP.
** The mobile no. is seeded into beneficiary account.
** If the details are incorrect, the reject button is to be clicked to cancel the seeding.
WEB SERVICES AT POST OFFICE SERVER :
Since JAP-IT is maintaining a copy of beneficiary accounts for supporting real time transactions through Micro ATMs on behalf of Post Office, accounts at all three places – JAP-IT, HPO and SO must be synchronized on frequent intervals. This synchronization will be achieved through Web -Services. There will two web services running –
** At Head Post Office server syncing with JAPIT server.
** At Sub Post Office server syncing with Head Post Office server.
These web services will support :
** Updation of Account balance
** Insertion of Transaction details
WEB APPLICATION AT JAP-IT :
There will be a web application deployed at JAP-IT to manage the account database. It will have following features:
Administrative Features:
** Permission management
** Role management
** User management
** Master data management like – SO entry, BO Entry, BO-SO mapping, POS device entry, POS device mapping to BO etc
** User Login.
** Various MIS Reports.
** View of user account details to officers at PO.
** Approval for adding accounts for account transfer.
Different roles that will be used to access the application are:
HO : Will be able to view all reports regarding a specific HO and all SO and BO that come under it.
SO : Will be able to view all reports regarding a specific SO and all BO that come under it.
BO : Will be able to view all reports regarding a specific BO only.
Special Users : This role will be able to view reports for any HO, BO or SO. It can be used by Chief Secretary of the State, Principal Secretary Dept. of IT, Chief Post Master General, India Post and other senior officials.
Payment of transaction fees :
The payment of 1% transaction fees will be made to India Post quarterly according to volume of transactions. The payment will be made within 45 days of end of the quarter subject to availability of funds.
ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES OF INDIA POST :
** India Post will provide details of manpower that will require training for operational issues.
** India Post will appoint nodal officers in all its offices for monitoring and facilitating the project and grievance handling.
** India Post will provide manpower requirements for maintenance issues for inclusion in the scope of SI for operation and maintenance.
** India Post will provide location details about distances of BO, SO and HO in form of a tree structure.
** India Post will provide details of mobile connectivity along with signal strength of BO locations. Pr. Secretary, IT to share village wise network availability matrix with India Post.
** India Post will provide formats for MIS reports.
