Operation Clean Money Registration

“Reporting Entity who are already registered in e-Filing portal can use this functionality to generate ITDREIN (Income Tax Department Reporting Entity Identification Number) and upload required forms – Form 61, Form 61A in e-Filing portal.

ITDREIN is the Unique ID issued by ITD which is communicated by ITD after the registration of the reporting entity with ITD. The ITDREIN is a 16-character identification number in the format XXXXXXXXXX.YZNNN as described in the following table.

Steps to Generate ITDREIN

Step 1 – Login to e-Filing portal using existing User ID, e-Filing Password and DOB/DOI. (Date of Birth/Date of Incorporation)
Step 2 – Go to My Account> Manage ITDREIN

Step 3 – To generate new ITDREIN click on the button “Generate New ITDREIN”
Step 4 – A pop up with Form Type and Reporting Entity Category is displayed. Select the Form Type and Reporting Entity Category from the dropdown.

Step 5 – Based on the Form Type and Reporting Entity Category selected, the ITDREIN will be generated and the user will be able to upload and view the corresponding Form.
Step 6 – Click Generate ITDREIN button

Step 7 – Success Message is displayed as shown below. User receives a confirmation e-mail on successful generation of ITDREIN to the registered Email ID. An SMS is also sent to the registered Mobile number.
Step 8 – On Successful Generation of ITDREIN, the screen is displayed as shown.

How to Generate SFT Report

The Report Generation Utility can be used to generate validated Form 61A XML Reports which is to be submitted to ITD. Report Generation Utility is a desktop utility based on java

Toolbar & Messages

The utility contains Toolbars, messages and buttons. The Report Generation Utility toolbar has a list of pre-arranged command buttons. These buttons in the toolbar are action interfaces that allow the user to perform utility functions.

Deploying the Utility

1. Go to e-filing portal
2. Click on the Forms (other than ITR) tab under the Downloads section.
3. Click on the Download link against Form 61A to download the Utility. It allows the user to save the file in the location selected by the user.

Prerequisites for the Utility

1. Operating System – Windows 7.1 and above
2. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) – Download and install JRE version 1.8 Update 101 or later from java.com/en/download/
3. Unzip software – Use tools like WinZip or WinRAR to extract the downloaded Report Generation Utility file.

Once the JRE version 1.8 Update 101 or later is installed, the utility can be deployed on user machine by extracting the downloaded file to the folder using tools like WinZip or WinRAR.

Running the Utility

After the JRE version and utility is installed, the Report Generation Validation Utility can be run as follows :
1. Go to the folder where the contents of the Utility have been extracted.
2. Click on RGU-Form61A-v1.jar file. It displays the General Instructions window.

How to install the utility on a windows platform?

Whether the utility needs any other software to be installed?
Yes. Report Generation Utility requires JRE to run on Windows based operating system. Download and install JRE version 1.8 Update 101 or later. For more details, refer section 3.2 of the user guide.
