Application Form

** To apply online for Drainage Connection
** To download and view Drainage Regulation Act 1990
** The Corporation provides facility of drainage connection in certain estates only. Please confirm with respective GIDC field office for availability of infrastructure.

Documents Checklist

The following documents should be kept ready and submitted along with the duly filled up application form of Drainage Connection.
** Editable application form (Adhesive stamp of Rs. 100)
** Copy of Offer cum Allotment letter
** Copy of Approved Building Plans with letter

** Copy of Licence Agreement / Form of Agreement
** Approved primary ETP/STP plan by GPCB and certificate of installation
** If Industrial unit – Copy of GPCB NOC + Copy of application made to GPCB

** Water supply connection details (location of connection, quantity, size of connection etc.)
** Water supply bills – Last 3 months (not mandatory)
** Possession Receipt and /OR Final Transfer Order (Mandatory)

Note : If necessary, GIDC will ask the applicant to submit other necessary documents to process the application.

Scrutiny Procedure

The following verification is carried out by GIDC before providing approval and connection to applicant
** If building plan is approved
** Whether quantity applied for same in License Agreement/ Form of Agreement, GPCB NOC and mentioned in the application

** If difference, then what is the reason (A query may be raised to the applicant in such case)
** Scrutiny of NOC from GPCB
** Verify that drainage connection can be given from the existing drainage line on facing road at distance

** Whether allottee has been allowed to use treated water into garden or any other use/recycling/another disposal
** Visits the site to fix the location of drainage chamber, verify the free fall arrangements in drainage connection chamber

** Provides schematic diagram of connection from drainage mains to connection chamber, size of connection, and calculation of drainage connection charges, deposits, contribution charges to applicant

1. What infrastructure facilities are provided by GIDC?
Basic infrastructure facilities like road, SWD, drainage, street lights most of the Estates have W/S facilities.

2. How the Service Charge is fixed?
Service Charge is fixed based on the actual expenditure incurred in the previous year on maintenance and repairs and expenditure on other infrastructure facilities.

The rates are being fixed by Corporation’s Division offices considering actual expenditure on M & R which is divided with the total allotted area of the particular estate to arrive at rate of service charge applicable.

This decision is being taken in consultation with the concerned Industries Association of the Estates.

3. What is the present rate of interest on the instalments payable on the plot?
Present rate of interest is 12.50% being charged on the outstanding amount on the capital portion on reducing balance method of the allotment price of the plot/shed. This rate is subject to revision every year based on the decision of the Board of Directors of GIDC.
