** The Candidates with blank date, time and venue of the examination have not been shortlisted.
** The Candidates who have been Rejected will not get their application form due to “Duplicate/Multiple Entries Found”.
** Request for change of date, time and venue of the examination will not be entertained.
** The Shortlisted Candidates are required to bring all original and attested copies of all the documents at the Examination Venue.

Important Instructions :
** All statements made in the application should be true and correct. Candidates should understand that in the event of any information being found false or incorrect, the candidature will be cancelled.
** Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service/training academy are not eligible to appear.
** Candidates can appear for one branch only. Filling up a duplicate form will be disqualified.
** Candidates to choose any one venue provided out of the options displayed.
** Name of candidate, father/mother’s name and date of birth should be filled as mentioned in the 10th class certificate.
** The candidates failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) or suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy cannot appear for Pilot branch however may apply for Navigator (Observer).
** The upper age limit for OBC/SC/ST is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules in vogue.
** While filling up the online application form, candidates are required to indicate exact percentage of 12th, Diploma and Graduation Degree, upto two decimals and are not to be rounded off. Any false entry of percentage detected at any stage of selection will be outrightly rejected.

FAQs :
1. I am not able to submit online application, it is slow. What should i do ?
Please check your internet speed and see whether you have updated internet browser-Google Chrome/Internet Explorer etc. Still If you are not able to submit from your Home-PC, go to internet cafe where you will get good speed.

2. I am an appearing candidate and waiting for last year result. I want to apply for Asst Comdt, can I apply? If yes, what should I write in certificate number column?
No, you are not eligilbe to apply.

3. I don’t have original convocation degree/provisional certificate. Can i sit for the preliminary examination ?
Please go through the current advertisement thoroughly.

4. How to fill yearly marks in diploma/degree columns, Since it is mentioned semester wise ?
Candidate to either fill total marks in first column or fill it yearly wise starting from first column. Please remember don’t leave blank columns, fill zero in it.

About Us :
The Indian Coast Guard is a multi-mission organization, conducting round-the-year real-life operations at sea. Despite being relatively small, it has a wide range of task capabilities for both surface and air operations.

The organization is headed by the Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) exercising his overall command and superintendence from the Coast Guard Headquarters (CGHQ) located at New Delhi. At CGHQ, he is assisted by four Deputy Director Generals of the rank of Inspector General, and other senior officers heading various staff divisions.
