Adijambava Airavata Scheme

Government of Karnataka is implementing Airavatha Taxi Scheme for the unemployed people from Madiga and its related communities, through Adijambava Development Corporation, This Scheme will be implemented in collaboration with UBER/OLA/MERU.

The beneficiaries after selection should undergo training, with UBER/OLA/MERU and undertake the business using their platform.

Eligible beneficiaries will get a subsidy upto Rs.5 lakhs from this corporation. The remaining cost of taxi should be arranged by the beneficiary himself through banks or financial institution.

Unit Cost

** 50 % of the Unit cost or Maximum of Rs.5 Lakhs subsidies
** Rest should be brought by the applicant from the bank / financial institutions.

Common Eligibility

** Applicant Must belong to Madiga and its related community and a resident of Karnataka state
** Applicant must have obtained LMV driving licence.
** Applicant shall be in the age group of 18 to 60 years.
** Annual income of the applicant’s family shall be within the limit of Rs.1.50 lakhs in case of rural areas and Rs. 2.00 lakhs in case of urban areas.

Conditions

** Beneficiaries must be selected by the Selection Committee.
** Beneficiaries must agree to tie-up with OLA/UBER/MERU and undergo their training program.

The Karnataka Adijambava Development Corporation was established by the Government of Karnataka in the year of 2018 and incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, with the vowed objective of bringing the social justice and implement the Government Schemes, Programs and Policies effectively for the economical empowerment of Madiga and its related communities under scheduled caste category.

Karnataka Adijambava Development Corporation has been established for the development of the Adijambava community residing in Karnataka

All the schemes that are implemented through the Ambedkar Development Corporation under social welfare department will also be implemented through the Adijambava Development Corporation exclusively for the betterment of Madiga and its related communities.
