COI :

Certificate of Identification is issued to the citizens of the state as a proof of being domicile of the state.

This certificate is a mandatory document for availing permanent government job opportunity , land transaction and any kind of service from the government in the state.

The Certificate of Identification is issued to the citizens of Sikkim who :
** is the son/wife/daughter whose name is recorded in original Sikkim Subject Register.
** is grand-son/brother from same father whose name is recorded in original Sikkim Subject Register.
** possesses agricultural landed property in any rural area of the State.
** whose Father/Husband is in Possession of the Indian citizenship Certificate
** who is continually in regular Service of the government of Sikkim since December 31 1969.

Bank Receipt(BR) :
Rs 100/-

Required documents : (Attested/Certified)
** Application in prescribed format 2. SSC/ COI of guardian
** Copy of parcha of the applicant / guardian (If applying on the basis of Landed Property)
** Proof of Age : § Birth Certificate § School Certificate § Age Certificate
** Unmarried Certificate (three months validity) in case of unmarried women
** Marriage Certificate- in case of married women from outside the state
** Appointment order/Pension Book (if applying on the basis of regular Govt. Employment)
** Death Certificate of Guardian (in case of death)
** Proof of nationality (In case of married women)
** PP sized photographs Applicant 4 nos Guardian 1 no

Registration :
I. Sale Deed- Required documents
** Two copies of Sale Deed fully filled and duly signed by the Seller
** Spot verification Report from the Amin Concerned
** Parcha of the land being sold
** SSC/COI of both the Buyer and the seller

2. Mortgage Deed- Required documents
** Original parcha of the land being mortgaged
** Attested copy of the Pnoto ID Proof of the Mortgager
** NOC from family members
** Bank Challan

3. Lease Deed- Required documents
** Two copies of lease deed duly signed by the Lessor & Lesse
** Spot verification report from the Amin concerned
** Attested copy of the Parcha of the land being leased
** SSC/COI of both the Lessor & Lesse

About Us :
Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department is primarily concerned with revenue administration in the state which encompasses survey and settlement operations, maintenance and up gradation of Land Records and enforcement of Land Laws in the State. With the new nomenclature of Land Revenue Department to Land Revenue and disaster Management Department there has been a paradigm shift in the management of disasters at Village to State Level. Apart from providing immediate relief to the victims of disasters the department is responsible for disaster prevention, mitigation and preparedness and as a nodal agency it has been implementing various Disaster Management Programs in the State
