About us :
An egovernance application software suite for Revenue and Licence System in local governments of Kerala. Information Kerala Mission (IKM), an autonomous institution under Local Self Government Department, Government of kerala has been setup with a mandate to strengthen the local self-governance through ICT applications.
It is largest and most comprehensive local body computerization initiative in the country, which envisage computerizing and networking the 1209 local self government institutions in Kerala. It addresses the entire gamut of issues concerning local body governance, decentralized planning, and economic development at local economic development.
IKM Methodology places people at the helm of affairs and focus on capacity building and empowerment as the mechanism for improving performance. Emphasis is placed on demystification of technologies by establishing adequate technical support systems.
It is not only about computerizing the local bodies, it is the technology application for improving productivity, ensuring better service delivery, that guarantee faster and objective decision-making, thereby enhancing accountability. As a testimony to excellence in its activities, many software applications developed by IKM bagged various prestigious awards.

A Help Desk System based on VoIP phones is functioning at the IKM head quarters for providing technical support to all queries related to application software deployed in the local bodies and hardware and networking issues that emanate from the local bodies across Kerala.
Call tracking and call logging is possible by using this system, which will enable the experts to follow up the call and thus ensuring customer /caller satisfaction.
