Health Information Through SMS :
The main purpose of this portal is the SMS service and hence named as Dr. SMS, for providing contact details of nearest health facility/specialty centre in the needed hours. An SMS with requested facility/specialty send to the specified number will receive the details of nearest centers with the requirement. The facility centers are identified based on the Pincode specified by the requester. The reply SMS will have the immediate contact details of requested facility/specialty centre.

Kerala Health Information Portal is the information delivery system which provides more details of health facility/specialty centres. The details of health facilities spread over Kerala are available in the portal. The categories of facility/specialty include Emergencies, Diagnostics Procedures, Laboratory service, General services etc spread in the various system of medicine. The details of Doctors working in respective specialties are also recorded in the portal. The facility for recording and viewing Blood Donor details is also available in the portal.
