What is Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana?

With a view to promoting self employment opportunities in the State of Himachal Pradesh and in order to provide livelihood to local youth by encouraging local entrepreneurship, the State Government has notified two Schemes namely “Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojana” by Industries Department and, Mukhya Mantri Yuva Aajeevika yojana” by Rural Development Department The Governor of Himachal Pradesh is therefore.

Eligibility of MMSY Scheme

Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana (MMSY) Scheme Eligibility

1. The Scheme is applicable to the age of 18 years or more youth of Himachal Pradesh, who are upto the age of 45 years at the time filling the oommon applieation form on the Departmental website, intending to set up new industrial units within the State

2. Such manufacturing unit should come into commercial production within one year and in case of service activity, the unit shall come into production within six months from the date of in-principle approval under the Scheme accorded by the District Level Committee (DLC) through Common Application Form on the Departmental website.

3. The Director of Industries may, extend the period for another six months in case of manufacturing enterprises or fbr another three months in case of service enterprises at a time based on effective steps taken by applicant, subject to total period (including original period of one year for manufacturing unit and six months for service units) not exceeding one year and six months for manufacturing and nine months for service enterprises from the date of approval by DLC.

4. Provided that units which are to be set up in Industrial Areas llndustrial Estates, will be required to come into commercial production as per the provisions in ooRules Regarding Grant of Incentives, concessions and Facilities to industrial units in Himachal Pradesh, 2004- as amended from time to time by the Industries Department and shall be governed by these rules, for manufacturing activities and those service activities as defined at Annexure-l or such other activities as may be notified by the State Govemment from time to time under this Scheme.

5. In Industrial Areas/Estates, the service and trade activities as defined at Annexure-I (except trade/shop projects in line with Goverdhana and projects of Gosadan) of these rules, will be allowed only in “B “and “C” category areas as defined in Rules Regarding Grant of Incentives, concessions and Facilities to industrial units in Himachal Pradesh, 2004.

Step-1 : Go to the link https://emerginghimachal.hp.gov.in/sso/investor/register
Step-2 : Fill the “Investor Registration” form
Step-3 : Click on “Register’ button

** Sign up by entering Email, Phone no, Password
** You can use either email or phone number while login
** Forgot password will send new password into your mobile number
** Fill application with detail which is asked in form
** Aadhaar and Name will match to the original aadhar no.
** Be careful while selecting district applying for
** Age must be between 18 to 45 year old
** Type of activity is depen on your nature of your bussines
** Qualification is beneficial for choosing industry
** If you are graduate, post graduate or diploma must choose stream for the same
** Land cost estimate will be mandatory
** You can choose any bank in bank info
** You must not be a defaulter in any bank
** Document for Aadhar,Bonafide certificate,Age proof is in image format (Allowed Format-JPG,PNG / Size-100kb)
** Land Record and PPR is in PDF format and allowed size is 600 Kb
** After final submit you will not be able to edit or change application
** With the help of bell icon you will know about the status of application
** From security option you can update your password
