How To Return Ordered Items On Amazon?

You can return many eligible items sold on Amazon.com. When you return an item, you may see different return options depending on the seller, item, or reason for return.

To return an eligible item you ordered:
** Go to Your Orders to display your recent orders. To return a gift, go to Return a Gift.
** Choose the order and select Return or Replace Items.
** Select the item you want to return. Then select an option from the Reason for return menu.
** Choose how to process your return. If applicable, select to issue a refund or replacement.
** For items sold from an Amazon seller, you’ll see Submit return request. The Amazon seller reviews return requests before issuing a refund or replacement. For more information, visit Returns to Third-Party Sellers. If you don’t receive a response within two business days, you can request an A-to-z Guarantee Refund.
** Select your preferred return method.
** Print your return label and return authorization.
** Add your return label (if applicable) and package your items for return.

What Can I Return?
You may request returns for most items you buy from the sellers listed on Amazon.in. However, you can only return items explicitly identified as “returnable” on the product detail page and/or our policy and within the ‘return window’ period. Please refer to the Amazon.in Returns policy. to know which categories are “non-returnable” and the specific return windows for categories eligible for return.

Items are returnable if you’ve received them in a condition that is –
** Physically damaged
** Has missing parts or accessories
** Defective
** Different from its description on the product detail page on Amazon.in
** You no longer want the item (return applicable only for eligible items)

What are the return guidelines?
Following are the return guidelines:
** Your address and the item that you wish to return must be eligible for return.
** If the return is not eligible for Pickup, a Self-Return option will be given. For more details, please see our Return Pick up and Self Ship Guidelines.
** Once the return is received, you will, in accordance with Amazon.in Refund Policy, be issued a refund to your original payment method.

Note:
1. For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed either to your bank account (via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)) or Amazon account (as Amazon Pay balance).

How can I return a Gift?
To initiate return, please visit the Gift Returns option. Enter the order number. For items eligible for refund as per return policy, you can also return the gift item in exchange for an Amazon Pay Gift Card, if the gift giver has sent a Gift Receipt to you. For certain items with replacement only policy (Smartphones, TV, Refrigerators, Washing machine, Laptops etc.), you can get a replacement after verification of the issue.

How can I return a Gift Card?
Gift cards once purchased cannot be cancelled or returned due to regulatory restrictions. If you need help with adding gift card balance to your account or using it, please refer our policy on Amazon Pay Gift Card.

Can I return a Global Store Product?
The General Returns Policy is applicable for all Amazon Global Store Products. Eligible products can be returned through courier Pick-up or Self-return. We only offer Self-Return for products worth more than Rs.25,000.
