2. In the Find what box, enter the text like IVRS NO. If you do not have your IVRS number you can enter Name of the Pensioner that you want to search for.

3. Click Find Next or Find All.

FAQ On Pension

Is second wife eligible for Family Pension where the 2nd marriage has taken place during the lifetime of 1st wife.
No. However, children of the second wife are entitled to Family Pension. Also pensionery benefits will be disbursed as per the compromised deed / court orders, if there is any.

What is the procedure for authorization of undrawn pension claim?
The undrawn arrear proposal received from the Disbursing Authority will be checked by this office and sent to the Pension Sanctioning Authority for obtaining necessary sanction. On receipt of sanction, this office will authorize the claim.

Is it possible to include the widowed/divorced/unmarried daughters as family members on a later date (If they were not included at the time of retirement of the Government servant)?
Yes.

Is there any preference to Son over Daughter for claiming Family pension?
No. The authorisation of family pension is strictly in order of their date of birth.

Is advance authorization for Family Pension in favour of Widowed/divorced/un-married daughters possible?
No. Advance authorization is available for spouse and physically/mentally disabled children and not for others.

Is appointment of a guardian necessary for payment of Family pension to physically/mentally disabled children?
Yes. Family pension shall be paid to such disabled children through the guardian as if they are minor. To avoid hardship to such children, parents may nominate a guardian(other than parents) during their lifetime.

How can a pensioner ensure that his pension papers were received in AG Office?
As soon as a pension proposal is received in this office an acknowledgment with IVRS number will be sent to the pensioner. If the pensioner has provided his mobile number in his pension application, status of the case will be updated to him periodically.

What are the references pensioner need to furnish while communicating with AG Office?
Either the IVRS number communicated by this office, or file number of this office which will be in alpha numeric such as A- 123/2015-04. If the correspondence is regarding already authorized pension, PPO number may be furnished.

Functions of AGAP

The Accountant General of Andhra Pradesh (AGAP) is an Indian government official who is responsible for auditing and accounting of all government departments and public sector undertakings (PSUs) in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The AGAP is also responsible for maintaining the General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts of all government employees in the state.

The AGAP is a statutory body under the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG). The AGAP is headed by an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS) in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. The AGAP has a number of subordinate officers, including Deputy Accountants General, Assistant Accountants General, and Accountants.

The AGAP performs a number of functions, including:
** Auditing of government accounts: The AGAP audits all government accounts, including the accounts of all government departments, PSUs, and local bodies. The AGAP’s audit reports are submitted to the CAG, which in turn submits them to the Parliament of India and the state legislature.
** Accounting of government funds: The AGAP maintains the accounts of all government funds, including the consolidated fund, the contingency fund, and the public account. The AGAP also issues treasury bills and promissory notes on behalf of the government.
** Maintenance of GPF accounts: The AGAP maintains the GPF accounts of all government employees in the state. The AGAP also disburses GPF withdrawals and interest payments.

    Revising my pension as per G.O.No.233 and communicated the IVRS No.9802193350 by SMS. The actual Order which is sent by ordinary Post is not received by 3rd May. However I have downloaded the authorization from your portal. But the actual copy of the orders is not received for file. Is there any provision to send a soft copy of the order.
