To download Birth/Death certificates online, Follow the below steps

Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the link given above
Step-2 : Click on the tab “Download Certificates”
Step-3 : Choose Your District and Location
Step-4 : Choose your Service
Step-5 : Select the Birth/Death date
Step-6 : Enter the Application Number
Step-7 : Enter the Registration Number
Step-8 : Click on Search button.

Do I have to complete registration for applying (Birth/Death) certificate?
A : After generation of Registartion Number successfully,You need to apply for (Birth/Death) certificate on this portal. After all processing and verification steps you can get the certificate.

A : Parents or relatives of the child can apply for birth certificate.

A : Parents,Spouse or relatives of the Deceased can apply for death certificate.

A : Any Government ID proof(i.e. Aadhar or Pan card or voter ID or Driver’s Licence etc.) of applicant along with (hospital discharge certificate/written letter from local authority) are needed to apply for birth certificate.

A : Yes you can apply for that. Note : If you are applying for first certificate within one year from Date of Birth/Date of Death, then you can avail it free of cost. After the time period some amount of money wiil be charged according to government rule.

Q : Who can apply for Birth Registration?
A : Parents(Father/Mother) or any relative of the child can apply for birth registration, Also the event can reported by local governent bodies(i.e. Anganwadi Workers,ANM’s, ASHA’s).
