PCC Registration

Eligibility For PCC :
** Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits.

** Applicant must possess a valid original Passport.
** Applicant is above 16 years of age.

Who Needs PCC :
** Citizens who want to migrate to other countries and have obtained passports before (6) months prior to applying for visa.
** Citizens who have obtained passports with in 6 months prior to applying for visa need not apply for PCC.
** An Indian passport holder staying out side India and requiring PCC should apply through Indian Embassy or Consulate in that country. He can issue authorization** ** to his relative or representative in India to collect PCC on his behalf.

Documents Required For PCC :
Applying From India :
** Challan paid at State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), Gruhakalpa Branch, Opp : Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad.
** Application form for PCC(1 Copy).
** Personal Particular Form.
** Clear Xerox of Passport all pages including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport, bring the original passport for verification.
** Residential proof of present address and previous places of stay if any in Cyberabad limits viz., (any two of the following). BSNL telephone bill Electricity Bill Gas connection paper Rental agreement(On notarized 10 Rs Stamp Paper), must in case of tenants enclosed with electricity bill as one proof Household supply card ( ration card ) Voter identity card Statement of bank account from nationalized banks only Residential Certificate from MRO
** Purpose of PCC (Letter of Proof). Consulate letter Visa copy / National Visa Center Case File Number Job offer letters from companies In case of Students Admission copy from concerned University
** Three {3} Photographs should be pasted on the application form and two {2} should be attached separately.
** No objection certificate from the Head of the Department/Employer, if the applicant is an employee.
** Study certificate (if the applicant is a student).
** The applicant should also mention clearly the periods of stay in Cyberabad with dates.

Applying From Abroad :
1. Challan paid at State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), Gruhakalpa Branch, Opp : Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad.
2. Application form for PCC.
3. Clear Xerox of Passport all pages including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport.

9. The applicant should also mention clearly the periods of stay in Cyberabad with dates.
10. An Indian passport holder staying outside India should send an authorization Letter(Original) addressed to the commissioner of police cyberabad authorizing** ** ** any relative staying in India to collect PCC on his behalf. Authorization Letter should be attested by an Indian embassy where the applicant is presently staying.

To View and Print The Challan

HOW TO APPLY PCC:

1. Fill your particulars in the application form and personal particular forms and take a print out of the same.
2. Affix one passport size photograph of 35 x 45 mm size on application form and one on each personal particulars form.
3. The applicant should come in person to submit the application form and collect the PCC between 3.00 to 4.00 Pm only (from Monday to Friday).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION :
1. Applicant is advised to read all the instructions clearly before applying for Police Clearance Certificate online.
2. Applicant should pay the challan first and fill the application later with Challan details (ref Point 11 & 12).
3. Applicant must check all the data entered carefully before submitting online. Details cannot be edited once the application is submitted.
4. If any wrong entry is made by an applicant, then those mistakes (Errors) can be edited only in our office (ref Point 16).
5. A confirmation screen with relevant data and information will be displayed.
6. On confirmation, an acknowledgment, Application Form and Personal Particulars Form will be displayed. The acknowledgment will contain a unique 16-digit Application number.
7. The applicant is requested to save and print this Acknowledgment, Application Form and Personal Particulars Form.
8. Applicant should affix one recent color photograph (size 35mm x 45mm) in the space provided in the PCC Application Form and one each on two Personal** ** Particulars Form. The photograph should not be stapled or clipped.
9. Signature / Thumb Impression should be within the box provided in the PCC Application Form.
10. If applicant is living in abroad
** Should authorize his/her relatives (Father/ Brother etc.) to process the PCC Application in India on his/her behalf. The letter should be addressed to** “Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad” through the Consulate.
** The applicant should clearly mention the present details, where he is residing in abroad with complete address.
** Authorized person of applicant can download the challan form (ref Point 11 & 12) and pay the challan in SBH, Gruha Kalpa Branch, Nampally, Hyderabad,** India.
** After making challan payment, the authrozed person should fill the application online with challan details and including his/her details (ref Point 4 & 5).
** The Applicant’s recent colour photograph should be affixed on the application (ref Point 6).
** Authorized person should sign on behalf of the Applicant (ref Point 7).
11. At present the processing fee for PCC Application is Rs : – 500 (Five Hundred only).
12. The mode of Payment must be in the form of Challan only. Challan is valid for one application only.
13. If the applicant requires more than one PCC, he/she should pay separate challans and fill online PCC application separately.
14. Applicant should submit the application within 30 days from the date of online application with all the enclosures.
15. Application will be processed only after receiving application with required documents.

PCC PROCESS :
1. Fill Application Form online. Follow the Instructions to fill the Application Form.
2. After entering and submitting the details in the application you would get 16 digits Unique Application Number.
3. Print the documents from online and enclose all the required documents.
5. Before filling up the application make sure under which Police station limits your residence falls.
6. Submit the application along with enclosures in the office of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Gachibowli.
7. The application will be handed over to field officer for verification, who will cause the field verification at the address given in the application.
8. A copy of the Personal Particulars form will be sent to Intelligence Department.
9. After receiving verification report from the field officer and NO OBJECTION report from Intelligence Dept. the PCC will be issued.
10. The applicant is required to come personally and collect the PCC from the office.
11. Applications received through Embassy/ Consulate will be handed over to the Persons authorized by the applicants if they are staying abroad.

13. You will get PCC within 10 days.
14. Issued PCC is valid up to six months from the date of issue.
