Obtain Sewerage Connection :
Procedure :
** Application form
** Self attested copy of occupation certificate issued.
** Certificate from a plumber registered with the Authority.
** Demand Draft towards road cutting charges, if any.
** In case of an unauthorized sewer connection, additional compounding fee shall be applicable.
Time limit :
05 working days from the date of receipt of application.
NOTE :
It would be preferred to print on A4 sheet.
Obtain Sewerage Connection :
Consequent is the issue of Occupation Certificate, the allottee is required to seek Sewerage Connection from the competent authority of GMADA, before connecting its sewer to the street sewer. Making House Sewer Connection without getting the prior approval will attract penalty and other suitable action.
CHECK LIST FOR SEWERAGE CONNECTION :
i. Application Form
ii. Self attested copy of Occupation Certificate issued by the Estate Officer.
iii. Certificate from a plumber registered with the Authority in the prescribed form. List of such plumbers is placed at page 7.
iv. Demand Draft towards road cutting charges, if any, as per the following norms. Road Category Water Supply Sewerage Up to 40 feet wide road Rs. 4500/- Rs. 9000/- 60 feet wide road Rs. 9500/- Rs. 19000/- 80 feet wide road Rs. 12500/- Rs. 25000/-
In case of an unauthorized sewer connection, additional compounding fee shall be applicable as detailed below :
** Residential Up to 6 Marla Rs. 8000/-
** Above 6 and up to 10 Marla Rs.16000/-
** Above 10 Marla and up to 1 Kanal Rs. 24000/-
** Above 1 Kanal Rs. 32000/-
** Commercial Single Storey shops Rs. 24000/-
** SCO/SCF(single bay) Rs.40000/-
** SCO/SCF (two bay) Rs.56500/-
** Hotel/LCR sites Rs.80500/-
** Semi-industrial shops Rs.24000/-
** Industrial Up to 1 Kanal Plot Rs.24000/-
** Above 1 Kanal up to 4 Kanal Rs.50000/-
** For each additional 4 Kanal or part thereof Rs.16000/-
In case, any unauthorized sewer connection is found to be faulty and not conforming to the technical requirements, then such rectification shall be rectified and cost of such rectification shall be recovered from the plot owner in addition to the compounding charges. All the above documents should be submitted duly self attested by the applicant and should be pasted on the blank sheets.
