Vehicle recovery status of stolen vehicle :
With this option you can know whether your stolen vehicle is recovered somewhere in the country. If you find a matched details you can approach the concerned Police Station where it has been recovered and restore it.
Verify status of 2nd hand vehicle(stolen or not) :
If you want to buy a 2nd hand vehcle you can know that the vehicle you are intend to buy is not a stolen vehicle. If you find a matched details you can stay away from buying that vehicle.

A. If proper personal details are entered NCRB will be able to approach you in case of any need.
Is it necessary to enter all the details asked for. :
Except for the Red coloured item all others are optional one. Out of the three parameters of Registration No, Chasis No, Engine No any two of them can be entered.
How to Report an Offense & to Whom :
As per section 154 Cr.P.C. a Police Officer is duty bound to register a cognizable offence when reported by any person.
The offence can be reported :
** By submitting in writing the details of offence either personally or through post
** By narrating orally to officer in-charge of Police station
** By informing through telephone
** The offence should be reported to officer incharge of a police station as far as possible but can be reported to MHC. If these officials refuse to register an offence a person can approach Supervisory Officer of police station or Supdt. of Police of the district
** Copies of FIR’s are given free of cost
** Insist on claiming your FIR Copy immediately after registration of a case
** A Criminal case (FIR) can be registered only in the event of a cognizable offence
About Us :
Madhya Pradesh, in its present form, came Click Here Madhya Pradesh Map into existence on November 1,2000 following its bifurcation to create a new state of Chhattisgarh. Reorganization of states led to the formation of state of M. P. on 1.11.1956 comprising of the erstwhile central province of Bhopal, Madhya Bharat & Vindhya Pradesh.
On the day of its birth the state had a complement of 252 Gazetted Officers and 39785 Non Gazetted Officers and men covering 739 Police Station. Six posts of DIG were created in the new state.
