Application for Contract Labour License :
Contractor in relation to an establishment means a person who undertakes to produce a given result for the establishment, other than mere supply of goods or articles of manufacture to such establishment, through contract labor or who supplies contract labor for any work of the establishment and includes a sub contractor.

Eligibility criterion :
** To every establishment in which 20 or more workmen are employed or were employed on any day of the preceding 12 months as contract labor
** To every contractor who employs or employed on any day of the preceding 12 months, 20 or more workmen

Supporting documents :
** Form IV
** Form V

Application Fee :
Applicant fills Form IV and should pay the fees based on the number of workmen proposed to be employed and collects a receipt for the same. Applicant deposits a security of Rs.100/- per workmen which is reimbursed on completion of the engagement.

How to apply :
** The applicant who wants to obtain the Contract Labour Registration shall submit the Form duly filled-in. He/She shall state true facts in the application. Follow below instructions to access the application,
** Click on e-Services & Forms link on the Portal
** Select Labour And Employment Department
** List of all services under the department will be displayed. Depending on the method of submission, click one of the links displayed under Action.
** Select Registration of Establishments Employing Contract Labour and click on the Action link, which will navigate to Action Page.
** The Action Page contains the links to different methods for accessing & submitting the Application : (a) Submit Online, (b) Print Form, (c) Download Form and (d) Upload form
