How To Get CCMC Birth/ Death Certificate Online?

You may obtain Birth certificates from the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) through online. You may submit your request to the Corporation in this page. In order to search the entry relating to the registration of birth details, you may enter details in all of the items in the following table and submit your request.

Birth Certificate Request

Online Birth / Death certificate page will be opened. Go to the link of Online Birth Certificate available under Quick Links tab in the right panel of the page.

Step 1 : Enter Child’s Date of Birth [YYYY-MM-DD ]
Step 2 : Select Sex of the Child as [Male or Female]
Step 3 : Enter Child’s Father Name, Mother Name & Place of Birth [These fields are Optional]
Step 4 : Click Submit Query Button

Birth Registration :
 If Birth Occurs in Hospital
Hospital authority is the informer in this case & they will inform the occurrence of birth to the concerned area (hospital building -located area) Sanitary Inspector in form 1.

 If Birth Occurs in Home
Head of the household (father / mother of new born baby) is the informer & they will submit the form 1 to their area Sanitary Inspector.

 If Birth Occurs in Transit : (Moving vechicle)
Place of first halt is the registration area & that area Sanitary Inspector is the registrar.

Online Death Certificate :
You may obtain Death certificates from the Corporation through onling. You may submit your request to the Corporation in this page. In order to search the entry relating to the registration of death details, you may enter details in all of the items in the following table and submit your request. This will result in the display of all the matching registration details. Upon selecting the details related your request, you may submit the requisition. By this you can obtain your death certificate in PDF format.

Death Certificate Request

1. Enter Date of Death* Date Format YYYY-MM-DD ex : 1985-05-31
2.Select Sex of the Deceased* Male/
3. Enter Name
4. Enter Father / Husband Name
5. Enter Place of Death
6. Click on Submit Query.

Note :
Please enter Date of Death and Sex of the Deceased only.

Get Certificate :
FinallyClick on “Print” button to see the Birth Certificate. The Birth Certificate is in the Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to view the certificate, you will need the Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) Reader which is available for free from the Adobe web site. Click here to download the software.

Death Registration :
 If Death Occurs in Hospital ( section 10 (1)) :
Hospital authority is the informer and they will inform in Form 2 to the concerned area (hospital building located area) Sanitary Inspector along with Form 4 .

 If Death occurs in Home
Head of the house hold is the informer and they will intimate the occurrence of death to their area Sanitary Inspector in form 2 along with form 4A ( this 4A form should be obtained from the Doctor who last treated the deceased).

For accident, suicide, murder and other police investigation cases
Sub – Inspector of the area (in which the death occurred) is the informer and he will inform the death to the Sanitary Inspector in form 2 along with the F.I.R. & Post Mortem copy (from 4 / 4A not necessary)
