Issue of Identity Card to Physically Challenged Persons
Sub Divisional; Magistrates are empowered to issue various kinds of statutory certificates including SC/ST & OBC, Domicile, Nationality etc.

Registration of Property documents, sale deeds, power of attorneys, share
documents are required :
** Application form duly attested by Class-I Gazetted Officer of Delhi Govt./Central Govt.
** Attested photocopy of first three pages of ration card showing proof of three years residence in Delhi
** Attested photocopy of medical Certificate in respect of disability from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital, Hindu Rao Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Ram Manoher Lohia Hospital, Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences etc
** Two passport size photographs. One should be attested from Gazetted officer
** For issuance of duplicate identity card, Rs. 10/- to be deposited with the cashier of District and the receipt should be attached with the application form.
** Ration Card is required at the time of submission of application form
** Identity card will be given to the applicant only after getting his/her signatures on the Card.
** Physically handicapped identity card is issued to handicapped persons who are orthopaedically handicapped, mentally handicapped or are blind or deaf and dumb. Guidelines for evaluation of various disabilities ( Notification – Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi, 1st June 2001) :
Revenue functions
Revenue functions involve maintenance of land records, conduct of revenue cases, carrying out of demarcation and mutations, settlement operations and functioning as custodian of public land. Deputy Commissioners and Additional District Magistrates are Collectors and Additional Collectors as per different Revenue Laws operating in Delhi. Sub Divisional Magistrates are designated as Assistant Collectors and Revenue Assistants and are primarily responsible for day to day revenue work. The subordinate revenue staff consisting of Girdavars, Kanungos and Patwaries are supervised by Tehsildars who are involved in field level revenue activities and mutations.
