Stage Carriage & Private Service Vehicle Permit :

A permit is given to a bus operator to ply the vehicle in a particular route. The route consists of stages where passengers can be picked up and dropped.

These permits are issued under Government policies. The Government also decides about seasonal/monthly or confessional passes and fare from time to time.

** PROOF OF ADDRESS (any one of the following to be produced)
Ration Card Electoral Roll LIC Policy Passport Pay slip issued – Govt. Office (or) a Local Body School Certificate Birth Certificate
Affidavit Sworn by the applicant before an Executive (or) a First Class Judicial Magistrate (or)
** Notary Public
Registration Certificate (if the vehicle is registered one)
Insurance Certificate (If the vehicle is a registered one)
Valid Tax , Solvency Certificate for Rs.30, 000/- ,Workshop facilities.

** Rs.1, 500/-
** For Inter State Route Rs.450/- per State
** iming Conference Fees Rs.600/-

** Secretary / Regional Transport Authority for Intra State Route
** State Transport Authority for Inter State Route

** 5 Days

Private Service Vehicle Permit
** Private Service Vehicle Permits are issued to institutions that operate the vehicle for their own use.

** amount of Fees payable Rs.750/- + Rs.150 Service Charge Rs.100

Who can apply for International Driving Permit?
Applicant should have a Driving License

Documents to be given :
** Valid Driving License
** Valid Passport
** Valid Visa
** Passport size photos 3 copies
** Medical Certificate in Form 1-A
** Valid proof of Nationality
