Procedure for Registration of Kissan for Direct Payment :
Farmer seeking receipt of direct payment of his produce from the procurement agencies/ purchser will have to be registered on KISSAN ARTHIA INFORMATION & REMITTANCE ONLINE NETWORK (eportal) of Food & Supplies Department.

The procedure for registration is as follows :
** Kissan will contact nearest market committee office and would give the following particulars
A. Farmer Name
B. Farther Name
C. Address-
D. District :
E. Block :
** After furnishing of the particulars 8 (eight) digit kissan code would be generated on the protal and would be intimated to the farmer by the official of the market committee.
** Farmer will get RuPay debit card mentioning kissan code given by market committee office generated from KISSAN ARTHIA INFORMATION & REMITTANCE ONLINE NETWORK (eportal). The card would be issued by following participant banks. (The specification of cards is as per annexure A).
** After issuance of card bank will certify the bank particulars of farmers on “S” form mentioning the Kissan code, Card no and Bank account particulars of farmer. The copy of Form “S” is enclosed at annexure B.
** Farmer will deposit the certified/verified form „S- with market committee office and market committee will enter the following bank particulars in eportal on KISSAN ARTHIA INFORMATION & REMITTANCE ONLINE NETWORK :
A. Farmer Code
B. Bank Branch
C. Account No.
D. Card No
** Market Committee office will update bank particulars in eportal on KISSAN ARTHIA INFORMATION & REMITTANCE ONLINE NETWORK. After this farmer can use his card for receiving direct payment from procurement agencies of Punjab Govt.
** For receiving direct payment farmer will have to carry his RuPay Debit Card to mandi while selling his crop and will have to swipe his card on procurement agency swipe machine along with arthia card.
** After swipe of card payment would be processed by procurement agency and payment of MSP after deduction of arthia charges would be made to farmer directly into linked account and payment of commission would be made to arthia.
