Register Your Institute Using Feecode:
Registration will generate user name, password and secret code. These details are necessary for login and updating the data.

Add / Edit / Delete Your Institutes Faculties:
Add Newly Joined Faculties every Academic Year and Delete the relieved / resigned faculties. Keep your data updated.

Add / Edit / Delete Clinical Facilities Details:
Add Details of Parent and Affiliated Hospitals as per the Nursing Programs.

Add / Edit / Delete Students Details:
Details of ONLY M.Sc. and P.B.B.Sc. Students is to be added every academic year.

FAQ On Indian Nursing Council

1. What if the institution is not recognised?
If the Institution is not recognised or not found suitable by the INC then the candidate passing out from that institution will not be able to work out side that State.

2. Whether any institution can get permanent recognition?
No institution is granted permanent recognition.
3. What is the student patient ratio?
1:3 is the student patient ratio during clinical practice.

4. Whether all Nursing programmes can be in same campus?
Yes, different Nursing Programme of the same trust i.e. ANM, GNM, B.Sc., P.B.B.Sc., M.Sc. can be in same campus. [Resolution number 5 circular dated 10th February 2009 & Resolution number 22 dated 3rd January 2012]

5. Whether same Nursing programmes can be in the same campus?
No same Nursing programmes can be in the same campus of the same trust or of different trust i.e., No trust can have same Nursing programme in the same city/town or in same campus.

6. Can an Institute have same name of different trust?
No two Institutes can have same name in same city/town.

7. Whether Teachers can change Institution very frequently?
Teachers who are moving from one Institution to another very frequently need to inform the State Nursing Council. Further, if they move from one State to State, they need to delete their names from the previous State Nursing Council & register in the State Nursing Council where they are working.

8. Own Building?
Institution shall have its own building within two years of establishment i.e., from the day of recognition from Indian Nursing Council. Otherwise penalty will be imposed [Resolution Number File No.1-5(GB)Cir/2011].

9. Leased Building?
Lease Building only from the State Authority will be considered as leased which generally is of the period 99 years lease. Institute taking the lease from the trust/trustee will not be considered as lease, instead it will be considered as rented.

10. Ad-hoc inspector TA & DA?
TA & DA of ad-hoc inspectors are borne by Indian Nursing Council including the hotel stay.

11. First inspection & Enhancement of Seats?
Institute shall submit application form, fees and documents as per application form & guidelines pertaining to that particulars year as per the calendar of events.

I have given my resignation over there but the management is not accepting my resign and also not relieving me from there although I don’t have any bond ship there but they are forcing me to work their as they want. Please help me out and if can tell me the resignation process.

Functions of Indian Nursing Council

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) is a statutory body established by the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947. It is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The INC is responsible for regulating the nursing profession in India.

The INC has the following functions:
** To establish and maintain uniform standards of nursing education: The INC is responsible for establishing and maintaining uniform standards of nursing education in India. It does this by inspecting nursing schools and colleges, and by approving the curriculum and textbooks used in nursing education.
** To register nurses: The INC is responsible for registering nurses in India. Nurses who are registered with the INC are eligible to practice nursing in India.
** To conduct examinations: The INC is responsible for conducting examinations for nurses in India. Nurses who pass the INC examinations are awarded a certificate of registration.
** To promote research in nursing: The INC is responsible for promoting research in nursing. It does this by funding research projects, and by publishing research papers in nursing journals.
** To provide continuing education for nurses: The INC is responsible for providing continuing education for nurses. It does this by offering workshops, seminars, and other educational programs.
