Some Important Information From Comments

Comments:
1. I am working in a central government organization in Tamilnadu. We have received a bank guarantee from a reputed vendor issued by a nationalized bank. The e-stamp in which we received the bank guarantee is showing ‘COPY’ (clearly stated) near the bar code scanner and not ‘ORIGINAL’. The Vendors/bankers want us to check its authenticity in SHCIL. We don’t have doubt in authenticity of e-stamp, but we have doubt in what we have received as “COPY”. Kindly clarify.

2. Can an unused but lost eStamp be refunded? I have a photocopy of the same. The Controller of Stamps has confirmed that the unused eStamp is cancelled and blocked and also that my money is still in the Government account. Please reply ASAP.

Error / Problem:
1. Sub-registrar has locked certificate “registration receipt” as she by mistakenly entered the wrong certificate number while registering. As per her, the id needs to be unlocked and they have sent the email to DIR for approval. It has been 7 days but, no further progress. What will be other ways to solve this mess as the govt working style is still very poor. Is there any other way that issue can be solved.

2. The error “copy copy copy ” is recurring in all eStamps. Whether we are in order if we treat it as valid ones & not void if such error “copy copy copy ” is appearing?
