e-TDS/e-TCS Renewal/ Change of Digital Signature Certificate (DSC):
To change Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) details BEFORE your current DSC expires, the organization need to follow below procedure *.
1. Login with Admin user ID using existing Digital Signature Certificate.
2. Go to ‘Change DSC details’ option.
3. Fill the required details of the DSC, which needs to be mapped with your user ID as well as Admin user ID. Please note that user ID and Admin user ID is required to be selected from List of user ID(s) given.
4. Click on Submit after confirming details of DSC.
5. Select the renewed/Changed DSC.
*Note :-
Existing DSC and the DSC which needs to be changed is required to be installed in the machine before following the above procedure.
To change Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) details AFTER your current DSC has expired, the organization need to send the below document along with screenshot of DSC:
1. DSC change request cum Authorisation letter
2. Screen Shots of new DSC*
*Note:
Go to Internet explorer – Tools – Internet Options – Contents – Certificates – Personal Tab (and view certificate) then take below screen shots.
1. General Tab
2. Details Tab – Serial Number
3. Details Tab – Authority Key Identifier
The documents should be forwarded to NSDL e-Gov at the following address:

Superscribe the envelope with ‘Renewal / Change of Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for Online upload’.
Note :-
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) based users are required to comply with the following pre-requisites with respect to the system configuration of the client machines:
JRE version : Oracle JAVA (32-bit) 1.6 update 29 or above
Client Operating system : Windows XP Professional service Pack 3 , Windows 7
I.E browser version supported : 7,8,9 and 10.
SafeNet e-Token drivers used should be the latest (if applicable).
