Online Filling For e-TDS/e-TCS :
NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e-Gov) launched an online upload of e-TDS/TCS return facility enabling entities to directly furnish (upload) their e-TDS/TCS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q and 27EQ only) to the TIN central system through the Internet on July 10, 2004.

Online upload of electronic statement facility can be used for upload of quarterly e-TDS/TCS statements (F.Y. 2007-08 Onwards) and Annual Information Return (AIR) (F.Y. 2004-05 Onwards). This facility is available only for entities who possess a valid reformatted 10-digit TAN. Entities having old TAN or who have not yet been allotted a reformatted 10-digit TAN cannot upload their e-TDS/TCS statements directly to the TIN central system through the internet.
An entity desirous of using this facility has to register itself online as an organisation and can associate its multiple TAN(s) to this organisation. These TANs should belong to the same legal entity for example ABC Bank and its branches (with different TANs) can register as one entity. Registration shall be in the name of ABC Bank and TAN of its different branches can be associated with it.
Entities intending to avail of this facility should have a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) (Class II or Class III) from any of the CCA approved Certifying Authority specified by NSDL e-Gov for the purpose of digitally signing the registration and subsequent logins to the TIN central system and upload of statements.
The DSC can be procured from the following Certifying Authorities (CA) / Sub Certifying Authorities.

Note :-
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) based users are required to comply with the following pre-requisites with respect to the system configuration of the client machines:
JRE version : Oracle JAVA (32-bit) 1.6 update 29 or above
Client Operating system : Windows XP Professional service Pack 3 , Windows 7
I.E browser version supported : 7,8,9 and 10.
SafeNet e-Token drivers used should be the latest (if applicable).
Procedure:
Organization desirous of availing the facility for online upload of electronic statements (e-TDS/TCS) have to register online as an organization with NSDL e-Gov. Details to be provided for registration are:
** Organisation Details (name of the organisation, TAN of the organisation, category of the Organisation [Company, Firm, Individual], contact details (address, telephone number, email).
** Payment Details (amount, mode of payment, instrument number) are optional. The organization is provided the option ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to make advance payment at the time of registration. In case, organization is not desirous to make advance payment at the time of registration, it can opt for option ‘No’.
** Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) Details (name of Certifying Authority, class of DSC, DSC serial number).
** An authorisation letter by the organisation should be provided on the letterhead of the organization to NSDL e-Gov in case DSC is not in the name of organization.
** Physical applications shall not be accepted.
** The organisation will fill the registration online and submit.
** If the data submitted fails in any validation, a response indicating the error(s) will be displayed on the screen.
** The organisation shall rectify the error(s) and re-submit the registration form.
** If there are no error(s) a confirmation screen with data filled by the organisation will be displayed.
** If the organisation requires any amendment to this data, it can choose the edit option, else it shall choose the confirm option.
** On confirmation of these details, the organization will sign the registration with the DSC details which have been provided during registration.
** On successful registration, a 12-digit acknowledgment number will be displayed.

Payment:
The organisation shall register online with or without advance payment. If the organisation desires to make payment at the time of registration, it can do so either by selecting the payment option.
1. Demand draft (or)
2. Cheque
Demand draft / cheque shall be in favour of ‘NSDL – TIN’.
Name of the organisation, TAN of the organisation and the acknowledgement number should be mentioned on the reverse of the Demand draft / cheque.
Demand draft shall be payable at Mumbai (to be sent to NSDL e-Gov).
Organisations making payment by cheque shall deposit a local cheque (drawn on any bank) with any HDFC Bank branch across the country (except Dahej). The organisation shall mention Account number of NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited on the deposit slip. List of HDFC Bank branches.

Organisation shall select appropriate mode of payment and fill relevant details during registration.
The organization that has not made payment at the time of registration will have the following options for payment for file upload. These options are available only after receipt of User ID from NSDL e-Gov.
Log-in with the Admin User ID and make advance/additional payment online or through Cheque/Demand Draft
Log-in with the user ID and make payment at the time of upload of statement.
