Get a Prepaid Connection :

Get a Vodafone Prepaid Connection in 3 simple steps

Step 1. What you will need:
** Passport size photographs
** Address proof
** Photo ID proof

Note: 1 latest passport size color photo for prepaid connection.

Step 2. To get a SIM, you will need to:
** Visit our Vodafone Store OR Vodafone Mini Store OR Any retail outlet near your location
** Choose a number
** Fill up the Customer information form
** View sample form
** Submit your documents
** Choose your Prepaid plan
** Find a Vodafone Store
** OR Visit any of over 1.7 Mn retail outlets near your location

Step 3. Activate your number:
** Your documents will now get verified
** Once you are latched onto Vodafone network Call 117 to activate
** After verification, your connection will be activated in a few hours

Note:
As per govt. regulations, for connections without any usage (voice/video calls, Outgoing SMS, internet usage,VAS purchases with balance) for 90 days, following actions are liable to be performed by VIL:
For subscribers with less than Rs.20 balance, all services will be deactivated pending recharge of Rs.20 for a period of 15 days. Number will be disconnected on non-recharge within this period.

For subscribers with more than Rs.20 balance, Automatic Number Retention Scheme will be put into effect – Rs.20 will be deducted and services will continue for 30 days. If there is no usage till the end of this period, i) or ii) may come into effect, depending on balance.

Step 3. Activate your number:
** Your documents will now get verified
** Once this is done, check to see if you get a signal on your mobile
** Call 117 to activate
** Time taken to activate may vary depending upon location
