Transfer of Ownership :

1. Applicant shall apply in 29, 30 Forms.
2. Form 29 should be in duplicate.

3. If the vehicle is under Hire Purchase Agreement /Hypothecation, shall submit with consent of the financier in form 30 in duplicate.
4. Shall enclose R.C. with current tax, I.C., chassis pencil print 2 Nos., specimen signatures 2 Nos. of the transferee.
5. In the case of vehicle brought from other state shall enclose N.O.C. issued by the concerned authority.

Fees are detailed below:
1. Motor –cycle Rs.30/-
2. Invalid carriage. Rs.60/-
3. L.M.V. Rs.100/-
4. M.M.V. Rs.200/-
5. H.M.V. or H.P.V Rs.500/-
6. Imported motor vehicle Rs.400/-
7. Imported motor – cycle Rs.100/-
8. Any other vehicle not mentioned above is Rs.150/-

Re- Registration:
1. Application shall apply in Form 27. In the case of HPN/HPA shall apply in duplicate with consent of the financier.
2. Shall enclose R.C. I.C., specimen signature 2 Nos., chassis pencil print 2 Nos, N.O.C. issued by the original Registering Authority (Form 28) .
3. Current tax has to be paid.
4. Vehicle to be produced for inspection.
5. Time required for this service is 60 days.

Fees are detailed below:
1. Motor –cycle Rs.60/-
2. L.M.V. Rs.200/-
3. M.M.V. Rs.400/-
4. H.M.V. or H.P.V Rs.600/-

Alteration in Motor Vehicle:
1. Applicant shall apply in Form N.A M.V. ,[ in the case of HPA/HPN endorsed in R.C. shall apply duplicate].
2. Shall enclosed R.C, I.C., and Consent of the Financier in the case of HPA/HPN endorsed in R.C.
3. Fees is Rs. 50/- for each alteration.
4. Current tax has to be paid.

Time required:
Time required for this service is 7 days.

Road Safety :
Road Safety deals with basic facts such as overtaking, traffic signals, towing, speed limits, the necessary documents to be carried while driving and other such neglected, but imperative points nonetheless.

Some rules to be followed while driving are :
1. Use proper approved seat belts
2. Look before you cross an Unmanned Railway Crossing
3. Dont allow children to play on the road.

4. Polluting vehicles are health hazard – take Pollution Under Control Certificate regularly.
5. Look both sides of the road before crossing it.
6. Keep safe distance between your vehicle and the one that is ahead of you.

7. Vehicles going uphill have the right of the way.
8. Overloaded vehicle endangers not only you but other road users also.
9. Cellular on wheels will be a costly deal.

10. Use dipper while driving at night.
11. Dont mix drinking and driving.
12. Do not jump Red Light.
