Renewal of R.C

1. Applicant shall apply in Form 25.
2. Registration Certificate and Valid Insurance Certificate has to be enclosed.

3. Specimen signature 2 Nos. has to be enclosed.
4. Chassis pencil print 2 Nos. has to be enclosed.
5. Vehicle has to be produced for inspection.
6. Current tax has to be paid.
7. Time required for this service is 7 days.

Fees are detailed below:
1. Motor –cycle Rs.100/-
2. L.M.V. Rs.200/-
3. M.M.V. Rs.400/-
4. H.M.V. or H.P.V Rs.600/-

Duplicate R.C.:
1. Applicant shall apply in Form 26.
2. In case of vehicle under Hire Purchase Agreement/Hypothecation shall apply with consent of the Financier in duplicate (Form-)
3. He shall enclose Valid I.C.,
4. Evidence for current tax paid,
5. Chassis pencil print 2 Nos.
6. Specimen signature 2 Nos.
7. If the R.C. is mutilated (or) damaged this R.C. has to be surrendered.
8. In the case of lost, missing certificate issued by police is to be enclosed.
9. Time required for this service is 7 working days.

Fees are detailed below:
1. Motor –cycle Rs.30/-
2. L.M.V.Car Rs.100/-
3. L.M.V. (Tr.) Rs.150/-
4. M.M.V. Rs.200/-
5. H.M.V. or H.P.V Rs.300/-

N.O.C. for T.O. and Re-Registration:
1. Applicant should produce the Clearance Certificate from the S.P. Head Quarters.
2. Applicant shall apply in Form 28 in triplicate.
3. In the case of Hire Purchase /Hypothecation (endorsed) in quadruplicate.
4. Affix Rs.2 court fee stamp.
5. Also enclose R.C., I.C., Chassis pencil print 2 Nos., consent of the Financier,
6. Shall have paid current tax.
7. Time required for completing the service is 12 days.

Certificate of Fitness(FC):
It is essential that all the Transport (commercial) vehicle has valid Fitness Certificate without which it will be deemed that the registration is invalid. The Fitness Certificate has to be renewed every year.
1. Applicant shall apply in Form C.F.A.
2. R.C, I.C. has to be enclosed.
3. Vehicle has to be produced for inspection.
4. Current tax has to be paid.
5. Valid Pollution Certificate.
6. Permit copy for the Permit covered vehicle.
7. The vehicle shall be produced for inspection at 12.00 noon or 4.00 p.m at the inspection yard of the department.
8. The results of the examination by the Motor Vehicles Inspector (FC) will be announced immediately after examination.
