Tata Power Bill Payment Options

TATA Power offers multiple methods to make online payments for your electricity bills: Credit Cards & Debit Cards, Net Banking, Itz Cash Card, Citibank Debit Card and Amex Card . TATA Power and our trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to protect your card/ account information at all times.

Using Net Banking

Upon selecting the option for ‘Net Banking’ the list of all supporting banks will be displayed. Select your bank from which you would like to make your payment and click on ‘Pay Online’. You will be securely redirected to the payment interface of your chosen bank.

Enter your net banking user id and password ? enter your payment remarks ? confirm the payment amount ? enter your transaction password and submit the same. The confirmed amount will be debited from your account.

Upon completion of the entire payment process, a transaction success/ failure message along with the entire transaction details will be displayed on-screen. You can take a print out of the online acknowledgement for reference purpose. A confirmation email will also be sent across to your registered email id.

Using a Debit/ Credit Card

TATA Power accepts all Debit/ Credit Cards (including AMEX cards) issued in India. For card payment, select ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ as the payment option and click on ‘Pay Online’.

You will be taken to payment gateway wherein you will have to enter your name (as it appears on the card), card number, card expiry date and 3-digit CVV number (Card Verification Value – found on the back side of your Credit/ Debit card).

For payment through AMEX cards, you will have to enter card number, expiry date, 4-digit batch code, your full name and billing address (exactly as it appears on your AMEX card), mobile number and email Id. For payment confirmation, you will be required to enter an image verification code.

Entering all necessary information, click on ‘Make Payment’; you will be redirected to the Bank’s page for processing the online payment.

The payment process upon being successfully completed; a transaction success/ failure message along with the entire transaction details will be displayed on-screen. You can take a print out of the online acknowledgement for reference purpose. A confirmation email will also be sent across to your registered email id.

    From the date I received SMS on my mobile ie 14th July, I have been trying, for almost more than 10 times my payment for June 2017 through internet. But to my surprise, every time the system displays “session out”. Please enlighten me with the reason. By virtue of this I also missed the payment discount on my bill.

    Please guide me any other site through which I can make my payment immediately.

      While trying to make an online payment, I get an error message. Why?
      This may be due to Internet connectivity issues between the online payment gateway and the bank. Under such a circumstance, your payment gets successfully processed, but the same is not reflected in your account. The actual status of your transaction will be communicated by the payment gateway to TATA Power Consumer Portal and your bill payment status in TATA Power will accordingly be updated within 3 working days.
      Alternatively, if you face Internet connectivity issues in TATA Power Consumer Portal site, then you can try and process your online payment after some time.

    I paid Tata power bill online on 11th Jan for Rs. 5540.00, and the same has been debited from my bank account. However, there is no confirmation received from Tata power. My CA number is 900000238788. Please revert.

    Yesterday I paid my bill online but was informed -sorry your moto card transaction is declined due to technical reason but what can I do my payment is already forwarded by the bank and the amount has been debited from my account. I even contacted the customer care and they told me there is no update please tell me what to do
