Procedure For Revaluation Review

For Students :
The students who have got ‘No Change’ or failure in the Revaluation Result and still have confidence of getting pass mark can apply for review.

They are advised to follow the following procedure :
1. The candidates who have applied for REVALUATION CUM PHOTOCOPY alone are eligible for review of answer scripts.

2.The answer script is to be valued by a faculty member of the college and he/she should recommend for review with the breakup of marks for each question.

3.A letter to the Principal requesting review of the paper with proper justification should be sent.

4.Enclose a Demand Draft (Review fee) for Rs.3,000/- per script drawn in favour of the Controller of Examinations, Anna University, Chennai 600 025.

5.Submit the letter with the draft to the College within five days from the date of publication of Revaluation Result.

For College :
1.The Principals are requested to forward only the genuine representations of the students who have obtained the photocopy of the answer script to the Controller of Examinations for further review.
2.The last date for forwarding review request is within 7 days from the date of publication of revaluation result.

Note :
The review fee of Rs.3,000/- paid per script will be refunded on getting pass mark in the review of the answer script.

Anna University introduced “Consortium of Industries” scheme wherein industries which are engaged in Design, Manufacturing and Research related activities can sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University for the benefits like

1. Students get industrial exposure in industries like carrying out project work, visit to industries and also training
2. Staff of the department can interact with the industry

3. Industry takes part in the academic activities
4. To make use of the expertise available from the industry for the benefit of both the faculty and students

5. To make use of the expertise available in the University for the benefit of practicing engineers in the industry
6. To make use of the facilities available in the University Department Laboratories for testing and consultation activities

7. As a part of the MoU, the company can also sponsor a candidate relevant to the discipline under any of the Faculty of Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / I.T. etc. The company which desires to be a part of the Consortium of Industries can apply to the University.

The prescribed application form can be obtained from the office of THE REGISTRAR, ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI-25 between 10.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on all working days from 16.8.2017 to 23.8.2017 with a requisition letter in the company’s letter head and by paying Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Anna University, Chennai -25”. The last date for receipt of filled-in applications is 27.8.2017 at 5.30 p.m.

Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society.
