SERB Telangana
The Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) as a sensitive support structure to facilitate poverty reduction through social mobilization and improvement of Livelihoods of rural poor in Andhra Pradesh.
As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, SERP is divided into AP SERP and TG SERP for implementing Indira Kranthi Patham (IKP).

Functions of SERB Telangana
The Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Telangana is a regional office of the SERB, which is a statutory body under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The SERB Telangana has the following functions:
** Promoting research and development in science and technology: The SERB Telangana provides financial assistance to researchers in the state of Telangana to conduct research in science and technology. The SERB Telangana also organizes conferences and workshops to promote research and development in the state.
** Fostering innovation and entrepreneurship: The SERB Telangana supports the development of innovative technologies and the creation of start-ups in the state of Telangana. The SERB Telangana also provides training and mentoring to entrepreneurs in the state.
** Strengthening the research and development ecosystem in Telangana: The SERB Telangana works with the government of Telangana and other stakeholders to strengthen the research and development ecosystem in the state. The SERB Telangana provides support for the development of research infrastructure, the training of researchers, and the commercialization of research.
** Disseminating research findings: The SERB Telangana publishes research papers, organizes seminars, and conducts outreach activities to disseminate research findings in the state of Telangana. The SERB Telangana also works with the media to promote awareness of science and technology in the state.
